Daily Puzzle: Basics

I know that Daily Puzzles have been a core feature of Happy Fish for at least a year already (if I am wrong, please do not correct me...just kidding), but just in case some of you have overlooked this mini game feature, I just want to give you a quick walk through on it - mainly on how to locate this mini game.

P.S. I do intend to post about solving the puzzles, but I have yet to acquire the technology to do that. Trust me, blogging is a serious job...you gotta take it seriously...really seriously...I try my best :)

This is how your aquarium looks like, well, sort of...when it is empty (except for the Merchant Fish who is always swimming here and there, how do you get rid of him anyway??). Do you see an icon of a pretty girl - at the spot where the finger is pointing? Well, that pretty girl is no ordinary girl - she is Princess Ariel (the good character in Happy Fish; we all know that the evil character in Happy Fish is Dr. Octopus now). Why should you bother about Princess Ariel? Simply because she holds the key to your Daily Puzzles. Go on, tap on the icon of Princess Ariel when you feel like playing Daily Puzzles.

Now we are in Princess Diaries Tasks, never mind what these are for now. Right now we are only interested in the Daily Puzzles (not to worry, when the time is right, I'll introduce you properly to Princess Diaries Tasks). Do you see a Rubik's cube at the bottom? That is the so-called Daily Puzzle!

Once you are in this mini game, you will be asked to select which level of difficulty you would like to attempt. There are three levels of difficulty, unless Happy Fish decides to add in more levels of difficulty (bring it on!) If this is your first time playing, you would want to try 2X2 puzzle first (the puzzle on the most left). If you are already an expert on this game, then go ahead and challenge the hardest 4X4 puzzle (the puzzle on the most right). Random puzzles are shown here daily - have fun!

After putting in so much effort in solving these puzzles, what do you get?? Hmmm...you have three choices - 5000 coins, 2000 XP or buying the fish at an incredible (nah, just roughly 20 percent) discount. Only one at a time, so make your choice wisely.

P.S. Bear in mind that you can only purchase the fish whose puzzle you had solved previously.

Promo: Bubble Story

As Happy Tap Tap promo is coming to an end, Happy Fish Dream Aquarium is quick (really, really, let me say again, REALLY quick) to introduce yet another new promo. What is it this time? If you check out the Fantastic Activities page, you will see a NEW promo called BUBBLE STORY! Don't worry, this promo is less hectic as compared to Happy Tap Tap (I really like hitting on the head of the evil Dr. Octopus...do you?)

In case you are lost (as in I-have-no-idea-what-Bubble-Story-is-about), feel free to read through the following guidelines before you embark on this new adventure...

When does the game begin and end?
The game has already started since 30 January 2015 and it will end on 7 February 2015...that means you should hurry and play the game now!

Stages...Fields??
There are four stages available - Field 1, Field 2, Field 3 and "Repeatab". This time, Happy Fish is kind enough to give a DEMO (Happy Fish should include demo in each promo, don't you agree?) in Field 1. Fret not if you have no idea how this game works because you will have a foretaste of it in Field 1. Just watch and learn how the obstacles are removed in Field 1, and Field 1 will be cleared before you know it.
P.S. I am not showing snapshots of DEMO here since it is better that you experience it for yourself.

Aim of the game
Remove obstacles in the pathway of Hero Yang and Lady Dragon so that the couple can meet. Ta da! Stage cleared!
P.S. Hero Yang and Lady Dragon characters are adapted from The Legend of Condor Heroes, a very popular martial arts novel written by Jin Yong. Consider them China martial arts version of Romeo and Juliet...

Wait!! What obstacles are we talking about?
There are basically two types of obstacles presented - breakable and indestructible. Bear in mind that you can only remove BREAKABLE obstacles, such as pink flowers, weeds and grass hedge (with a love pattern engraved on the top). Do not bother about indestructible obstacles - no matter how hard you try, they will not go away.

Alright...so how do I remove the breakable obstacles?
That's simple - you just need to use bubbles, yes BUBBLES. In this game, bubbles act as bombs, also known as BUBBLE BOMB! When you place a bubble in between two or more BREAKABLE obstacles (e.g. between two flowers), the bubble will explode and remove the obstacles in the process.

The two grass hedges near Hero Yang were removed after a bubble was placed between them!
P.S. Observe that the indestructible obstacles still remain as where they were before the bubble exploded.

Now then, where can I get these incredible bubbles?
Not to worry...you will be getting three free bubbles each day as long as you remember to visit this promo page daily.

Hmmm...only three bubbles each day?
What?! You want more bubbles? Alright then, don't tell Dr. Octopus that I leaked out this secret to you, but you can actually exchange 10X Sakura Petals (gems produced by Sakura Fish) to get additional ONE bubble EACH DAY. Aw come on, don't be greedy now!

Nobody is going to stop you from making purchases, but why not claim your free fourth bubble if you have enough Sakura Petals to exchange with?

Uh...I have no idea what is a Sakura Fish & Sakura Petal gem?
Hmmmhh...I don't blame you, there are way too many new fish being introduced already. Be sure to release Sakura Fish (which has already produced the Sakura Petal gem) into your aquarium. Friends in need are friends indeed?

What is "Repeatab" stage?
After you have cleared Field 2 and Field 3, you can access "Repeatab" stage. "Repeatab" stage has more obstacles to be removed, but not to worry, you still use bubbles to remove them as usual. Nothing changes, but you will require more bubbles to clear the stage. Each time you successfully remove the obstacles, you will be rewarded with points AND a new layout will be presented to you in "Repeatab" stage! What does this mean? Well...you can play "Repeatab" stage AS MANY TIMES as you want, as long as you have enough bubbles.

If you have completed Field 2 and Field 3, you will be given access to "Repeatab" stage. "Repeatab" stage can be attempted as many times as you want - there is no time limit nor do you need to wait for game reset.

This is how a "Repeatab" stage looks like - the maze is full of obstacles for you to remove. The obstacles will be placed randomly each time you get a new layout. Be prepared to use between five to seven bubbles to clear this stage.

I need more points! How do I get them?
I have digged out a secret from Dr. Octopus today, don't tell him that I've shared his secret with you. This method is especially useful in "Repeatab" stage, since you will require many more bubbles to clear this stage. Here are two secrets:

• If you do not use your bubbles, they will be brought forward to the next day. Your bubbles will not be forfeited if you do not use them during the promo period. So, you do not need to use up all your bubbles if you do not need them.
• If you can complete the stage at one go (remove the obstacles to allow Hero Yang and Lady Dragon to meet), you will get DOUBLE POINTS. Please take note that you must complete the stage within ten minutes, otherwise you will not get double points.

Yesterday, I only had five bubbles but I need at least six bubbles to complete this stage. I kept my five bubbles and waited until today for another four bubbles. Today I finally have nine bubbles and I could complete this stage!


The DOUBLE POINTS will only be awarded if you can complete the stage within ten minutes. Make sure that you have at least six or seven bubbles before you start using your bubbles.

What do I get in return for reuniting Hero Yang and Lady Dragon?
Each time you successfully remove the obstacles or complete the stage, you will be rewarded with points. You can use these points to exchange for any of these below;

That is all that needs to be told...now go ahead and try to win yourself the exclusive pair of Hero Yang and Lady Dragon.
P.S. Take your time in understanding the maze, do not confuse yourself between the breakable and indestructible obstacles. Happy Fishing!
