Synth Game: Saddle Grouper Brown

Do you know that a new fish has been introduced in the Synth Game? Meet Saddle Grouper Brown!

Saddle Grouper Brown is only available in the Synth Game - it cannot be obtained through any other manner (for the time being at least). This means that you cannot use coins or fishbucks to purchase it, nor can you obtain it from promotional activities. The good news is that you can take your sweet time to get Saddle Grouper Brown from the Synth Game. There is no time limit in getting this fish (unless Happy Fish Dream Aquarium changes the rule of the game in the future, fingers crossed).

Are you ready to get your hands on some Saddle Grouper Browns? There are three recipes available to synthesize Saddle Grouper Brown; I have listed the recipes in ascending order, according to the Synth Level. The minimum Synth Level which you must have reached in order to synthesize Saddle Grouper Brown is Level 28. If you have yet to reach Level 28 in the Synth Game, you will not be able to synthesize this fish.

The Bulb fish series were only available during the previous Shake Shake promo activity (if I am not mistaken, before the current Scan game promo activity). Some new players might wonder where they can get the bulb fishes from. Unfortunately, we can only wait for Happy Fish to make them available again, perhaps in future promo activities?

Anyway, Happy Fish released two bonus codes in the past, to give away Pink Bulbs to players. Are you one of those lucky players to redeem the bonus codes?

Extra 10 Daily Checkin Stamps for August

The month of August is coming to an end soon - have you been hardworking in collecting stamps for this month?


Do you know that if you have collected at least 27 stamps in this month, you can get EXTRA 10 stamps? How cool is that? 

To qualify for the extra 10 stamps, make sure that you have checked in at least 27 times for this month of August. Please take a look at the above photo - do you notice a small red stamp appearing on the dates of the August calendar? You need to collect at least 27 of these small red stamps, if you want to collect your extra 10 stamps. 

Also please remember to tap on "GET REWARD" button to claim your extra 10 stamps. The extra stamps are not automatically credited to your Happy Fish account; you need to claim it yourself. For more information, please check out Extra 10 Stamps (I have prepared an animated tutorial for this post).

If you are planning to exchange for a Red Starfish this month, the extra 10 stamps might come in handy. Please take note that you will need 66 stamps to exchange for a Red Starfish.

 

P.S. Please lookout for the Stamp Exchange page because Happy Fish gives away at least one free Fish Bucks Fish in each month. For example, there are two Fish Bucks Fish available for exchange in August - Purple Earth and Red Starfish. Work hard to check in daily, collect your stamps, claim your extra 10 stamps and exchange for the Fish Bucks Fish at the end of the month. Little Raccoon

The Little Raccoon has been introduced in the Synth Game since August 16, 2014. Have you gotten your Little Raccoon so far?

Each synthesis for the Little Raccoon takes six hours. If that is too long for you, you can cut short the time by spending some fish bucks. I believe this is how some players managed to fill up their aquarium with this fuzzy fellow.

• Production time: 6 hours

Dr. Octopus has provided the formula in the Synth Game (it will normally pop up when you enter the game).

Synth Game August 16 - September 15 Sneak Preview

This cute raccoon fish will be introduced in the Synth Game from August 16 to September 15...oh my gosh...so cute!!


Here are the three gems required to get this raccoon fish...

• BUTTERFLY (BLUE) produced by BUTTERFLY FISH (BLUE)
• AQUA STONE (GREEN) produced by LANTERNFISH (GREEN)
• AQUA STONE (PINK) produced by LANTERNFISH (RED)

Minimum synth game level: Level 33
Please make sure that you have reached at least level 33 for the Synth Game if you want to get this raccoon. For the time being, only the Aqua stone (Green) is available in the Synth Game [you can refer to this list - Gems At Each Synth Level]. The other two gems will be introduced into the Synth Game in a few hours time.

Freebies: Rody

Happy Fish has announced a NEW bonus code for a yellow-colored Rody fish (I have no idea what the actual name is in English, but this is not important for now).

How to Redeem Bonus Code

This is a quick post on how to redeem Happy Fish bonus codes to get some freebies.

Tap on the GIFT BOX (it is normally found under the number of coins that you own).
# This photo is taken from an older version of Happy Fish game, the current game looks very different. Nevertheless, you should have no problem locating the Gift Box. It looks exactly the same.



This is the activity/promo page which would appear after you tap on the GIFT BOX. This first page will be updated from time to time, but there is always a white space for you to enter a Bonus Code. This white space is just right at the bottom of the page. Can you find it? It is a white box, with "Enter Bonus Code" written in it. An EXCHANGE button is next to it.


Tap on the white space and key in the bonus code. Make sure that you check the System Message to redeem your freebies.

It's time of the month to check the Stamp Exchange page...what are the gems to be collected for the next potion game?

My oh my...we might need to put in more effort to collect the gems this time. This time, there are three gems shown on the Stamp Exchange page. Most importantly, all three gems are produced by Fish Bucks Fish (this means that you need to use Fish Bucks to purchase the fish).


The gems which might be required are:

• AQUA STONE (PINK) - produced by LANTERNFISH (RED)
• ARMOR GEM - produced by GOLD ARMOR
• GOBY STONE - produced by PURPLE GOBY

P.S. There is no guarantee that these are the three gems needed for the next potion game. Maybe only two of them will be used, and the last gem might be coming from other normal fish. To be on the safe side though, please try to collect as many gems as possible from your friends. Also remember to release these fishes for your friends (of course with gems).

Quick Save is a cool feature for players who want to save time in keeping and releasing fish. Read on to find out how it works.

Release some fish into your tank. In the photo below, I am releasing fishes with gems for my friends to collect when they visit me.


Tap on the mini Blue Tank.


Tap on MANAGEMENT. The magic starts here.


Notice the QUICK SAVE button above the list of your fishes? Tap on QUICK SAVE.


This is the Memory Box section - a shortcut to keep and release fishes which you often play with. By default, every player is given one (1) free Memory Box. I would recommend that you use this Memory Box to store the fish that you release for your friends


Tap on SAVE if you want your first Memory Box to store the current fishes in your tank.


The game is actually taking a photo of your tank. Tap anywhere on your tank.


The game will ask if you are really sure of saving the current fishes in your tank into the Memory Box.


Your Memory Box now contains a photo of your favourite fish. Whenever you want to get them out, simply come to this page and tap on RELEASE.


The fishes contained in the Memory Box will be released if you confirm your action.


If you swipe to the left or right, you can see your other Memory Boxes. You can keep or release fish from any of the Memory Boxes that you own.


If you need more Memory Boxes, you can always get an additional Memory Box at the cost of 10 Fish Bucks.
